When designing the Nihonto Octa braid Mikado wanted to give customers a line, which would not only possess great knot strength- it would also be super soft, smooth and abrasion-resistant. Thanks to the super tight wind of eight micro strands this line is perfectly round and soft, while the thermofuse outside layer makes it smooth and silent on the rings.
